Overview

As Controller at Scribe, you will be a key leader on the finance team, building a world-class accounting function and scaling our processes and systems.

In Short

• Lead and scale the accounting function at a high-growth SaaS company.
• Build and grow various disciplines within the business, including Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting.
• Own and optimize month-end, quarter-end, and annual close processes.
• Oversee general accounting processes and general ledger activities.
• Manage external audits and ensure compliance.
• Implement systems to improve efficiency and support growth.
• Partner with FP&A and other business owners for financial insights.
• Hire, mentor, and develop a high-performing accounting team.
• Drive automation and strategic decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, CPA required.
• 10-15 years of accounting experience, preferably in high-growth startups.
• Experience with GAAP and accounting policies.
• Strong understanding of ERP solutions and financial systems.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and hands-on.
• Experience with Stripe and Salesforce is a plus.
