Senior Bilingual Accountant – Accounting Lead - Remote

Overview

The Senior Bilingual Accountant will play a crucial role in managing daily accounting responsibilities and optimizing operational accounting processes while working remotely from Colombia.

In Short

• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements.
• Ensure accounts receivable and payable reports reconcile with the general ledger.
• Maintain and update prepaid expense schedules and provisions.
• Prepare reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts.
• Support annual audits and respond to auditor inquiries.
• Daily application of customer payments in NetSuite.
• Update cash projection tools daily.
• Support integration of acquisitions.
• Work on automating manual accounting activities.
• Manage daily accounts payable mailbox and invoice entry.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (required).
• Bilingual – must conduct business in English and Spanish.
• Minimum 3 years of prior experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Experience with NetSuite preferred but not required.
• Experience in mergers and acquisitions is a plus.
