Schrödinger seeks a Biologics Applications Scientist to join us in our mission to improve human health and quality of life through the development, distribution, and application of advanced computational methods!

Schrödinger is on the cutting edge of computer-aided drug discovery and materials science. Our software suites continue to transform the design of therapeutics and materials - FEP+, WaterMap, Glide, BioLuminate, and LiveDesign are just a few examples of the applications we’ve created.

As a member of our Applications Science team, you’ll train and guide customers in their use of our groundbreaking molecular modelling suites, provide strategic scientific support, and address challenging problems in drug discovery.

In Short

• Provide scientific support to current and prospective customers.
• Work with biologics customers to translate their scientific vision into robust modelling and data analysis workflows.
• Troubleshoot customers’ scientific workflows and administration of their modelling environment.
• Engage in cutting-edge methodological scientific research.
• Publish scientific papers and present at conferences.

Requirements

• PhD in computational chemistry, bioinformatics, structural biology, or a related field.
• Deep knowledge of at least two biologics modalities such as antibodies, peptides, enzymes, oligonucleotides, and DNA/RNA.
• Demonstrable Python programming experience.
• Excellent English language skills (both verbal and written).
• Willingness to travel.
