Associate Director, Field Reimbursement - Remote

Overview

The Associate Director, Field Reimbursement will support patients and caregivers by enhancing access to a potentially novel treatment option for individuals living with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA). This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of individuals living with a rare neuromuscular disease by ensuring access, support, and continuity of care throughout their treatment journey.

In Short

• Provide ongoing support through tailored, field-based education on reimbursement processes to HCPs.
• Develop and execute strategic, patient-centric plans to ensure access and support for patients.
• Build and maintain collaborative relationships with healthcare organizations.
• Analyze data to identify barriers to access and optimize access pathways.
• Foster relationships with cross-functional partners in market access and patient services.
• Provide education to internal teams on access and reimbursement challenges.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in reimbursement roles.
• Experience in rare disease and understanding of complex reimbursement processes required.
• Experience with specialty therapies in chronic or acute care settings preferred.
• Ability to develop and execute account-based strategies.
• Strong analytical skills to derive actionable insights from data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and patient-centricity.
