Overview

We are looking for an electronic engineer / FPGA expert to join our industrial partner in the defense sector at their site in Valence.

In Short

  • Design and implement complex FPGA-based systems using hardware description languages (HDL) such as VHDL or Verilog.
  • Develop and optimize digital circuits for high-performance applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate FPGA designs into larger systems.
  • Conduct thorough testing and verification of FPGA designs to ensure functionality and performance.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation for all designs and processes.
  • Stay updated on the latest FPGA technologies and industry trends.
  • Troubleshoot and debug hardware and firmware issues.
  • Participate in all phases of the product development cycle, from design to production.

Requirements

  • Degree in Electronics Engineering.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in FPGA design and development.
  • Proficiency in hardware description languages (HDL) such as VHDL or Verilog.
  • Strong knowledge of digital circuit design and PCB layout.
  • Experience with FPGA development tools (e.g., Xilinx Vivado, Intel Quartus).
  • Expertise in signal processing and embedded systems.
  • Familiarity with high-speed digital design techniques.
  • Knowledge of communication protocols (e.g., SPI, I2C, UART).
  • Programming skills in C, C++, and Python.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Understanding of analog and mixed-signal circuits.
  • Familiarity with FPGA-based system-on-chip (SoC) designs.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to stay updated on emerging technologies in the field.
