Machine Learning Engineer - Remote

At Scalable Capital, we are thrilled to announce an opportunity within our Data Department for a new ML Engineering role in our growing Data Science team. This role focuses on bridging the gap between software development and Machine Learning, primarily working on applied generative AI use cases. In this newly formed work stream, you will have the unique opportunity to lay the foundations and set the right direction.

In Short

• Identify, evaluate, implement, and maintain (Gen) AI / ML technologies.
• Drive the development of appropriate architectures for deploying and maintaining scalable ML/(Gen) AI solutions.
• Contribute to infrastructure components and CI/CD pipelines on AWS.
• Evaluate retrieval techniques and generative AI methodologies.
• Implement automated testing and monitoring techniques for AI systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for AI systems integration.
• Stay updated with the latest industry developments and technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or related field.
• Generalist mindset with willingness to switch between technical domains.
• Extensive experience in AI/ML technologies and software development (Python).
• Experience with AWS and related ML/GenAI services.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control practices.
• Confidence in working with modern workflow orchestration frameworks.
• Strong understanding of chains, routing, agents, and vector databases.
• Experience with FastAPI for building APIs.
• Familiarity with MLOps practices and ML model lifecycle.
• Interest in financial services and markets is a plus.
