Global SAP BW Architect and Business Partner - Remote

We are looking for a member of our Global SAP Center of Excellence (COE) team to lead data utilization across the company and support strategic decision-making. This position is expected to leverage SAP BW/BI for data management and analysis expertise to provide accurate and timely insights that directly contribute to business growth. Additionally, as a business partner in finance, legal, and HR areas, the role will promote operational efficiency and enhance reporting while aligning business processes and requirements.

In Short

• Provide strategic direction in line with corporate data strategies and governance standards as a SAP BW/BI solution architect.
• Define and guide the enterprise-wide data architecture using SAP BW/BI, ensuring robust design for data integration and sharing across global business functions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to transform business requirements into scalable data solutions that enable strategic insights and decision-making.
• Act as a key business partner in finance, legal, and HR, aligning processes, requirements, and solutions to support operational efficiency and reporting needs.
• Work with global ERP COE and regional IT teams to ensure architecture and integration strategies support corporate goals and mid-term plans.
• Select and guide development and support partners to deliver high-quality solutions and services aligned with business and IT objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
• Over 5 years of experience in IT roles supporting finance or ERP systems in a global enterprise.
• Practical experience in SAP FICO and SAP BW design, implementation, and operational support.
• Deep understanding of finance processes and data management principles.
• Business-level communication skills in Japanese and English.
• Ability to understand business strategies and translate them into measurable IT solutions that create business value.
• Experience managing complex IT projects, including stakeholder engagement and cross-departmental collaboration.
