Animator - Remote

Overview

As an Animator at Sandbox VR, your role is to produce high quality animations for our VR experiences, improving the feeling of immersion for guests.

In Short

• Produce high quality animations for VR experiences.
• Collaborate closely with Lead Artist and Creative Director.
• Work on both cinematic scripted and gameplay animations.
• Handle multiple projects with varying animation styles.
• Understand game design and production timelines.
• Have shipped at least 3 indie games or 2 AAA games.
• Strong understanding of character animation and movement.
• Proficient in Unity, Maya, and Motionbuilder.
• Experience in rigging assets and animation pipelines.
• Passion for VR and knowledge of industry trends.

Requirements

• Experience with VR projects is a plus.
• Ability to deliver animations on time and within budget.
• Strong aesthetic sense in character animation.
• Ability to test animations thoroughly in-game.
• Interest in investigating new tools and production methods.
