Sana’s vision is to make healthcare easy. We aim to create an experience that simply feels easy when you need to access our healthcare system. We are looking for a detail-oriented and strategic Controller to lead Sana’s accounting function and help scale our financial operations.

In Short

• Own the integrity of all accounting functions.
• Manage a small but high-performing accounting team.
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings.
• Effectively manage the accounting process under both cash and accrual accounting methods.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements for management and investors.
• Lead process and system improvements for financial reporting.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors.
• Oversee tax planning and compliance.
• Develop and maintain financial accounting policies and internal controls.
• Collaborate with FP&A on budgeting and strategic financial planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA required.
• 8+ years of accounting experience, with leadership experience preferred.
• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel.
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Prior experience leading a financial audit is advantageous.
