Overview

As a Cleans Process Engineer at Samsung Austin Semiconductor, you will play a vital role in monitoring and enhancing the wafer fabrication process, working with a skilled team to establish world-class processes and implement solutions for complex problems.

In Short

• Monitor wafer fabrication processes and respond to in-line issues.
• Coordinate scheduling of process qualifications and equipment downtime.
• Analyze data and identify trends using software.
• Make adjustments to process parameters and monitor tools post-maintenance.
• Revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) continuously.
• Develop improved processes for increased capability.
• Communicate technical information through presentations.
• Work in a clean room environment wearing appropriate PPE.
• Participate in night shifts as scheduled.
• Engage in troubleshooting equipment or process failures.

Requirements

• BS or MS in relevant engineering or science fields.
• Experience scripting in Python, VBA, or equivalent.
• Understanding of statistical methods.
• Experience with Change Point Management and Lean principles.
• Familiarity with Software Data Analysis tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment/process failures.
• Physical ability to work in a clean room environment.
• Must be able to lift < 35 lbs.
• Ability to work at a computer for extended periods.
• Must comply with U.S. export control laws.
