Process Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Process Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing industrial processes within our organization to improve efficiency, safety, and product quality.

In Short

• Analyze and evaluate existing processes, identifying inefficiencies and recommending improvements.
• Design, develop, and implement new process systems or modify existing ones.
• Conduct root cause analysis of process issues and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, including flow diagrams and training materials.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of process changes.
• Monitor process performance using data collection and analysis tools.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Lead process validation and qualification activities.
• Participate in capital projects, including equipment selection and installation.
• Provide technical support and training to production staff.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
• 2+ years of experience in a process engineering or manufacturing role.
• Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, AutoCAD).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma is a plus.
