Overview

The Autonomous Equipment Engineer is responsible for maintaining and optimizing Automated Guide Vehicles (AGVs) to ensure efficient operation in a manufacturing environment.

In Short

  • Inspect, repair, and diagnose AGVs.
  • Continuously learn and innovate solutions for AGV systems.
  • Support leadership decisions and contribute to team success.
  • Generate AGV layouts and implement traffic rules.
  • Calibrate and test autonomous vehicles.
  • Provide logistical and technical insights for optimal automation.
  • Analyze and modify traffic logic for material flow optimization.
  • Deploy AGV systems and commission equipment.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 35 lbs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Science Engineering.
  • 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Ability to evaluate problems and generate solutions.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
  • Skills in programming, PLC, and Arduino.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to act independently and innovate solutions.
  • Physical requirement: Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
