Overview

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack Developer (AWS Developer) to join our growing team at Samsara. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, building, deploying, and maintaining scalable and reliable applications and infrastructure on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform.

In Short

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable applications and services on AWS.
• Utilize a wide range of AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, Lambda, and more.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS tools.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs and web services.
• Ensure security and compliance of AWS environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for high-quality solutions.
• Troubleshoot issues in AWS environments.
• Stay updated with the latest AWS services.
• Contribute to technical documentation and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field with 8+ years of experience.
• Strong understanding of core AWS services.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, Node.js, or Go.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Knowledge of data integration and cloud-native ETL pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Understanding of security best practices in the cloud.
