In Short

• Collaborate with a global team to monitor and respond to security events.
• Assist in security incident response and create automated workflows.
• Maintain security policies and incident response procedures.
• Work flexible hours, primarily from 5 AM – 1 PM IST.
• Drive remediation efforts across the organization.
• Provide clear security guidance for cloud and enterprise initiatives.
• Manage post-incident activities and security event analysis.
• Champion Samsara’s cultural principles within the team.
• 3+ years of experience in security incident response is required.
• Programming experience in Python is necessary.

Requirements

• Strong reasoning and documentation skills.
• Experience in security incident response and coordination.
• Concise verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Understanding of analysis and forensics techniques.
• Familiarity with SIEM tools.
• Ability to work flexible hours and be on call.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Risk Management, or related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of security frameworks like NIST and ISO 27001.
• Experience in cloud architecture and security.
• Technical knowledge of network fundamentals.
