Senior DevOps Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Senior DevOps Engineer in our Global Infrastructure team, you will be part of a team whose mission is to provide Salsify with the infrastructure, services, and tools necessary to efficiently scale the platform and support the growth of the engineering organization.

In Short

• Develop infrastructure automation and management solutions focusing on scalability, observability, automation, reliability, security, and quality.
• Design, implement, and maintain solutions that empower engineering.
• Deliver internal infrastructure services such as monitoring, logging, and alerting.
• Expand and enhance our Kubernetes-based application environment.
• Work closely with software engineering teams on platform direction.
• Emphasize trust, mentorship, and collaboration within the team.
• Participate in all phases from design to development to maintenance.
• Empower engineers to innovate while solving challenging problems.
• Experience working as part of a distributed team.
• Excellent written communication skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• Experience with orchestration platforms, such as Temporal.io.
• Experience with Configuration Management and Infrastructure Management systems like Terraform.
• Practical skills in programming languages like Go, Ruby, or Python.
• Deep knowledge of core Cloud Hosting concepts.
• Experience with at least one Cloud Hosting platform (AWS, Azure).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of networking and distributed computing concepts.
• Experience with GitOps and Infrastructure as Code concepts.
• Excellent written communication skills.
