In Short

• Provide leadership and strategic oversight of a unit handling an inventory of high-severity, high-complexity losses and files with potential or active litigation.
• Provide leadership and oversight of Senior Commercial Desk Adjusters handling highly complex and high severity commercial losses.
• Lead a team of General Adjusters in the field handling complex personal lines and commercial lines losses.
• Promote customer service excellence and build empathy for the customer experience.
• Responsible for performance management, training, and coaching of adjusters.
• Analyze complex trends and take strategic action to avoid recurrence.
• Promote a culture committed to identifying process efficiencies.
• Ensure claims meet quality and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with senior management in recruitment and staffing decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 10+ years of property claims experience.
• 7+ years of large loss field property claims experience.
• 4+ years of commercial large loss experience.
• 4+ years of property claims leadership experience.
• Experience fostering and managing key vendor partnerships.
• Proven ability to communicate complex technical and business items clearly.
• Proven ability to work across technical and business-oriented stakeholders.
• Proven ability to lead department-wide initiatives with limited oversight.
