Overview

Sagent is seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer to join our Dara product(s) team, which aims to transform the mortgage servicing industry through cloud-native solutions.

In Short

• Work with a global development team on modern technologies.
• Participate in all aspects of agile software development.
• Develop API-first systems in collaboration with functional SMEs.
• Utilize server-side technologies like Java, React, and Node.js.
• Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale.
• Engage in resource planning and risk management.

• Collaborate across time zones using Microsoft Teams and GitHub.
• Contribute to building large-scale enterprise distributed applications.
• Participate in setting up observability and logging tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or relevant discipline.
• 3 - 4 years of experience in a related field.
• Experience in the mortgage or financial services domain is a plus.
• Deep expertise in cloud-native architecture and SaaS platforms.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and event-driven messaging frameworks.
• Familiarity with security and compliance standards.
• Knowledge of enterprise and integration design patterns.
• Excellent debugging and optimization skills.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of Docker containers.
