In Short

• Lead the Fleet management team responsible for software used in fall detection and activity monitoring.
• Own all aspects of the fleet management platform and embedded stack.
• Collaborate with product management to implement scalable and reliable solutions.
• Mentor junior team members and lead projects through the development lifecycle.
• Build roadmaps for fleet solutions in partnership with operations and product management.
• Drive improvements in product availability, scalability, and efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
• Promote agile best practices and company values.
• Communicate effectively about the team and technology.
• Act as the site lead for SafelyYou in Quebec.

Requirements

• Experience with IoT, mobile, and cloud technologies.
• 10+ years of software development experience on Linux.
• Experience managing distributed teams.
• Customer-focused mindset and good product sense.
• Experience with Go as a development language.
• Proven track record in managing complex systems in production.
• Excellent communication skills for multi-functional collaboration.
• Passionate about the mission and technology.
