Field Installation Technician - Remote

Overview

The Field Installation Technician will be responsible for installing, setting up, commissioning, and troubleshooting Safe Fleet equipment at various customer sites across the US and Canada.

In Short

• Travel to customer sites for equipment installation.
• Setup and commission Safe Fleet equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair system components.
• Provide customer and technician training.
• Must have MECP Basic Installation Technician Certification or equivalent.
• Experience in mobile installations preferred.
• Strong understanding of vehicle electrical systems required.
• Willingness to travel up to 90% of the time.
• Ability to work non-standard shifts and weekends.
• Must possess skills to safely use hand tools.

Requirements

• MECP Basic Installation Technician Certification or Electronics Engineering Technician Diploma.
• Minimum one year experience in mobile installations.
• Strong troubleshooting and computer skills.
• Experience with access point installation.
• Ability to install and program mobile surveillance products.
