• Responsible for developing and executing a global intellectual property and brand protection strategy.
• Oversee outside counsel for IP matters domestically and internationally.
• Manage a robust patent and trademark portfolio.
• Advise senior leadership on IP-related risks and opportunities.
• Educate and train internal stakeholders on IP best practices.
• Monitor industry trends and competitor portfolios.
• Assist with IP enforcement, licensing, and litigation strategy.
• Provide legal guidance on IP-related contract structures.
• Support product launches and software lifecycle management.
• Foster a culture of innovation and IP awareness across departments.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school.
• 7+ years of intellectual property law experience.
• Active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Experience managing global patent and trademark portfolios.
• Familiarity with online gaming and sports betting technologies.
• Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with technical and business teams.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.
• Registration to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office is preferred.
• Prior in-house experience is a plus.
