Quality & Continuous Improvement Specialist - Paperboard Packaging - Remote

Overview

The Quality & CI Manager will provide leadership and support for ongoing maintenance and compliance to RR Donnelley Quality Management System (QMS) requirements, regulatory requirements, metrics performance and continual improvement.

In Short

• Provide leadership for Quality Management System compliance.
• Lead quality resolution processes for strategic clients.
• Conduct assessments to identify quality improvement opportunities.
• Implement QA & QC methodologies.
• Establish relationships with strategic suppliers.
• Lead Continuous Improvement initiatives such as 6 Sigma.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Assist in customer audits and facility assessments.
• Support the problem-solving process.
• Travel 40%-50% of the time.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or similar.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• 5 years of experience in Quality & CI areas.
• 5 years of experience in packaging companies.
• Knowledge of compliance certifications (ISO9001, ISO14000).
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing and QA tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Minitab.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
