Overview

RouteSmart Technologies, a leader in vehicle route optimization software technology, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our development team. This role will report directly to the Lead Software Engineer and is responsible for designing, coding, and supporting a variety of web applications and services.

In Short

Design, code, and support web applications and services.
Contribute to cross-platform routing systems integrating GIS and mapping capabilities.
Lead and mentor development staff.
Develop maintenance roadmaps for development frameworks.
Write SQL commands, functions, and scripts.
Full stack development required.
Ensure code is well designed, testable, and efficient.
Identify and fix errors in code.
Research new coding standards for application improvement.
Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Experience in software engineering and web application development.
Knowledge of GIS and mapping technologies.
Proficiency in SQL and full stack development.
Ability to mentor junior developers.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Experience with coding best practices.
