Affordable Lease-up Coordinator - Remote

Overview

Roers Companies is seeking an energetic, dedicated professional to join our team as an Affordable Lease Up Coordinator. This role will require 50% travel and we are looking for someone who is bilingual in English and Spanish!

In Short

• Provide phone and email support to affordable lease-up properties.
• Act as the first point of contact for prospects with questions on specific affordable housing projects.
• Knowledgeable in max rent and income guidelines and affordable housing requirements.
• Assist applicants with the application process by explaining all applicable forms.
• Review applications for accuracy, completeness and guide applicants to the next step.
• Assist applicants in scheduling tours or onsite application appointments.
• Process applications remotely and submit to compliance.
• Complete daily and weekly reports as requested.
• Manage prospects by answering incoming calls and internet leads.
• Maintain customer service and excellent relations with prospects and employees.

Requirements

• High School Degree or GED.
• 1+ year in a professional office environment.
• Demonstrated general knowledge of Property Management desired.
• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Must be organized, detail-oriented, and have good time management skills.
• Experience within residential real estate is preferred.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Computer skills preferred: Microsoft Word, Excel, OneNote, and Outlook.
• Knowledge of Yardi or Property Management software strongly preferred.
• Bilingual: Spanish and English.
