Lien Release Coordinator - Remote

Overview

The Lien Release Coordinator works closely with the Bank’s release vendor to ensure lien releases are processed timely and accurately in accordance with state and regulatory requirements. The role will provide ongoing opportunities to apply critical thinking and industry knowledge to resolve a variety of title and servicing exceptions.

• Work with the Bank’s release vendor for timely lien releases.
• Apply critical thinking to resolve title and servicing exceptions.
• Partner with sub-servicing clients for custodial file management.
• Monitor and maintain the Lien Release Inbox.
• Manage Excel exception reports for trending deficiencies.
• Oversee the lien release process for Paid in Full (PIF) loans.
• Assist with audits and action plans for lien releases.
• Handle customer escalations and communications.
• Provide training and support to offshore staff.
• Ensure superior customer service across all interactions.

Requirements

• High School degree or GED.
• Familiarity with MERS Online (preferred).
• Experience in the mortgage industry, specifically MERS or title curative (preferred).
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent listening and organizational skills.
• Client-centered focus with the ability to adapt to changing situations.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong initiative and problem-solving skills.
