IT Specialist (Contract) - Remote

Overview

The Contract IT Specialist will build and support our corporate IT systems and applications, playing a critical role in developing and implementing compliance and security policies and programs.

• Maintain and support Windows and macOS laptops.
• Respond to support tickets for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Perform user onboarding/offboarding tasks.
• Troubleshoot VPN access and remote desktop tools.
• Manage mobile device security via MDM tools.
• Document standard operating procedures.
• Monitor IT asset inventory.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of IT support experience.
• Strong familiarity with Google Workspace and Slack.
• Experience supporting remote teams.
• Proficient in troubleshooting macOS and Windows.
• Knowledge of endpoint management tools.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently.
• Technical knowledge of hardware/software from Google, Apple, Microsoft.
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations is a plus.
