Concept Art Intern - Remote

Overview

As a Concept Art Intern at Riot, you will bring characters and creatures to life, generating ideas and crafting designs that enhance the game’s narrative and visual cohesion.

In Short

• Sketch, ideate, and iterate concepts of creatures, props, and VFX.
• Develop detailed concept art for 3D artists and animators.
• Creatively problem solve for the look and feel of game assets.
• Collaborate with other disciplines for cohesive designs.
• Support production with feedback and paintovers.
• Utilize knowledge of story tropes and archetypes in designs.
• Understand human and animal anatomy for character design.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a college or university program.
• Graduating in the 2027 calendar year.
• Available for full-time hours during the 12-week internship.
• Eligible to work in your country during this remote program.
• Experience with Photoshop or relevant design tools.
• Ability to showcase iterations and sketches.
