Visual Design Art Intern, Teamfight Tactics - Summer 2026 - Remote

Overview

Riot Visual Designers seek to craft the best player experiences through their knowledge of systemic design, graphic design, layout, typography, and color theory. Designers collaborate with cross disciplinary teams and act as both artistic and design problem solvers. They understand players and ask questions about the what, who and how when solving for an interface or communication challenge.

In Short

• Create 2D UI visuals that balance aesthetics with functionality.
• Work closely with the Visual Design lead and UI team.
• Collaborate with a team of UX, Motion Graphics, Production, Audio, and Engineering experts.
• Implement your UI in the engine, ensuring pixel-perfect assets.
• Balance craft and product feedback with player value focus.
• Maintain clean source files and project structures.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an art or visual design degree program.
• Graduating during the 2027 calendar year.
• Available to work full-time for the 12 week internship duration.
• Eligible to work in the country of residence.
• Visual design experience in Figma and/or other UI/UX design apps.
• Experienced with Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Knowledge of game design pipelines.
