Overview

The Specialty Pharmacy Technician / Specialty Pharmacy Guide (CPhT) is a key member of the Rightway PBM Clinical Operations team, supporting specialty clinical pharmacists in engaging with members and providing exceptional customer service.

In Short

• Act as a direct contact for specialty pharmacy benefit information.
• Support members with prior authorization and prescription fulfillment.
• Field inquiries from various stakeholders related to specialty pharmacy.
• Assist in scheduling appointments and medication adherence support.
• Conduct quality reviews to meet operational standards.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and privacy standards.
• Provide support to other clinical operations teams.

Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in a pharmacy technician role.
• Active Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification.
• Strong communication and empathetic skills.
• Knowledge of pharmacy claims and benefit designs.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
