Remote Pharmacy Clerk

Overview

This is a 100% remote pharmacy clerk position supporting a Cardinal-owned specialty pharmacy. The Clerk will provide prescription order entry details to support the pharmacist processing the prescription order.

In Short

• Support a specialty pharmacy with prescription order entry.
• Work Monday-Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm CST with some weekends.
• Manage moderate to high prescription volume.
• Input patient data into pharmacy information management system.
• Maintain knowledge of HIPAA and pharmacy regulations.
• Demonstrate effective communication and customer service skills.
• Work collaboratively with team members.
• Possess initiative and organizational skills.
• Utilize Microsoft Office Suite and learn pharmacy systems.
• Responsible for additional duties as needed.

Requirements

• Data Entry experience preferred.
• Call center experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Two years of relative work experience preferred.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Desire to provide superior phone customer service.
• Professional demeanor and positive attitude.
• Ability to function as a cooperative team member.
• Willingness to take on additional duties.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
