Overview

Molina Healthcare is hiring for a Pharmacy Technician who is BOTH State Licensed/Certified and Nationally certified. This role is 100% remote, and the shift times we are filling are Monday through Friday with rotating weekends.

In Short

  • Review incoming Prior Auth requests for Medicaid and Marketplace members.
  • Coordinate with pharmacists to make determinations on cases.
  • Must have a positive “Can Do” attitude.
  • Experience in Specialty Pharmacy and Retail Pharmacy is ideal.
  • Must be computer savvy and able to work within several computer systems.
  • High level of communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Able to utilize resources to work independently.
  • Participate in the development of programs to enhance drug utilization.
  • Assist Molina Member Services and pharmacies in resolving issues.
  • Articulate Pharmacy Management policies to providers and staff.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • 2 years’ experience as a Pharmacy Technician required.
  • Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician Certification required.
  • 3+ years of experience preferred.
  • Associate’s degree preferred.
