Field Engineer (RF/DAS - Entry Level) - Remote

Overview

As a Field Engineer at RF Connect, you will support the deployment of advanced wireless communication systems, working closely with senior engineers and contributing to the growth of the company.

In Short

• Support pre/post-sale project deployment engineering.
• Conduct facility surveys for signal strength and path.
• Review installation specifications and evaluate sites.
• Utilize signal test equipment and software.
• Perform on-site commissioning and optimization.
• Work remotely within the USA, with travel requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers and account managers.
• Document designs and provide feedback on deployment performance.
• Ensure delivery dates are met for deployment activities.
• Maintain project budgets and balance competing requirements.

Requirements

• Experience in telecommunications or related field.
• Technical knowledge of RF systems and processes.
• Strong customer relationship and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or Computer Science preferred.
• Familiarity with iBwave and other design software.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and remotely.
• Willingness to travel regularly for site evaluations.
• COVID vaccination may be required for site entry.
