Entry Level Water Engineer - Remote

In Short

• The Richmond, VA team is looking for dedicated, creative, and energetic candidates interested in tackling challenges and developing sustainable solutions to address water issues.
• Support and drive the development of projects related to water/wastewater/stormwater treatment and conveyance.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and mitigation planning for sustainability and resilience projects.
• Perform site visits, water sampling, and analyze water quality.
• Utilize data analytics for operational assessments and condition evaluations.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and participate in client meetings.
• Ensure project compliance with quality, health, and safety standards.
• Learn and manage databases, SQL server, and cloud-based computing services.
• Work independently and collaboratively with team members across the U.S. and internationally.
• Use digital tools to enhance customer experience and project delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelors of Science degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (or a closely related engineering discipline).
• Prior work/internship experience at a design or consulting engineering firm is preferred.
• Experience with AutoCAD, ArcGIS, and/or Revit is a plus.
• EIT certification is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Self-motivated, team-oriented, and adaptable.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
