Project Estimator/Solutions Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Project Estimator/Solutions Engineer at RF Connect, you will create accurate and profitable proposals for various projects while focusing on cost control and profitability.

In Short

• Create detailed cost estimates for commercial, industrial, and enterprise projects.
• Analyze project plans and specifications.
• Prepare proposals, budgets, and cost breakdowns.
• Develop relationships with vendors and subcontractors.
• Evaluate subcontractor proposals for compliance and completeness.
• Work with Sales to align proposals with budget and timeline.
• Conduct value engineering analysis.
• Prepare and lead proposal review meetings.
• Monitor proposal costs and report metrics to management.
• Assist field operations post-award and at project closeout.

Requirements

• Experience in Construction Management & Estimating.
• Knowledge of Distributed Antenna Systems and low voltage cabling.
• Proposal management experience.
• Strong customer relationship skills.
• Ability to multi-task and stay organized.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
• Familiarity with iBwave, JDSU, Invex, AutoCAD is a plus.
