This role offers a remote or hybrid work offering for a Bulgarian-based individual. An opportunity has become available for an experienced Mobile Engineer who will be a key member of the Engineering unit at Reward Gateway. You will be responsible for ensuring that our mobile app is built to be visually compelling and compliant with both internal and external standards.

In Short

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications using React Native
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Design, and Backend Engineering
• Continuously improve the user experience of our mobile applications
• Work in a team environment with shared code
• Identify, analyse, and resolve performance bottlenecks
• Write and maintain comprehensive unit tests and documentation
• Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies

Requirements

• At least 4+ years experience as a Software Engineer
• Excellent programming skills in JavaScript, preferably with TypeScript and GraphQL experience
• In-depth knowledge of the React and React Native frameworks
• A good understanding of the Android and iOS platforms
• Experience with frontend testing frameworks
• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tooling
• Understanding of mobile UI/UX best practices
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Experience working with mobile payments would be highly advantageous
