In Short

• Lead the technical architecture for backend services and core infrastructure.
• Design modular components for mission command and staff management.
• Build and scale RESTful APIs (or GraphQL).
• Integrate with DoD systems using secure data pipelines.
• Lead initiatives to organize and operationalize mission data.
• Collaborate with frontend tools and component libraries.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for testing and deployment.
• Deploy infrastructure using AWS GovCloud or Azure Government.
• Prioritize security and access control from day one.
• Work in a fast-moving, early-stage environment.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in backend or full stack development.
• Strong grasp of database architecture (PostgreSQL or similar).
• Experience with authentication/authorization best practices.
• Familiarity with scalable architectures and modular backends.
• Comfort working in fast-moving environments.
