Virtual Legal Assistant - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Virtual Legal Assistant to support a demand writer in preparing and managing medical payment (med pay) demands. This role involves general legal administrative tasks such as follow-ups, correspondence, and tracking payments.

In Short

• Assist with the preparation and organization of med pay demands
• Follow up on issued checks and outstanding payments
• Draft and send correspondence to relevant parties (providers, insurers, clients, etc.)
• Maintain and update case files and documentation in an organized, secure system
• Track deadlines, payment schedules, and related task statuses
• Communicate effectively with internal team members and external contacts as needed

Requirements

• Detail-oriented and reliable
• Strong administrative and legal support skills
• Prior med pay experience is a plus but not required
