Senior BigCommerce Engineer - Remote

Overview

ResultStack is actively seeking a Senior BigCommerce Engineer to join our remote-first team. This role is ideal for a developer who has hands-on experience with the BigCommerce platform and thrives in fast-paced, client-facing environments.

In Short

• Design and develop scalable BigCommerce solutions (custom themes, integrations, APIs)
• Collaborate with clients and project managers to define and deliver technical solutions
• Work across the full stack (front-end, APIs, back-end) when applicable
• Implement custom functionality using BigCommerce’s stencil framework
• Integrate third-party services and maintain high code quality and performance
• Stay current with best practices around eCommerce architecture and development
• Provide technical insight and leadership on BigCommerce implementations

Requirements

• Proven experience building and maintaining eCommerce websites on BigCommerce
• Proficiency with JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and modern front-end frameworks
• Experience with NodeJS or related server-side frameworks is a major plus
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party service integrations
• Strong debugging and performance optimization skills
• Excellent English communication skills for client interactions
• U.S.-based with valid work authorization
