A growing, modern accounting and advisory firm is seeking a Director of Accounting & Tax Services to lead service delivery for a team of 8–10 professionals. The firm is dedicated to supporting Main Street businesses—the retailers, restaurants, and service providers that form the backbone of local communities. In Short

• Technical oversight and signing of federal/state tax returns.
• Manage service delivery for tax and accounting engagements.
• Supervise and mentor a team of managers and staff.
• Monitor team utilization and implement process improvements.
• Serve as the primary technical escalation point for the team.

Requirements

• Active CPA license in good standing is required.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in public accounting.
• Proven track record of supervising and developing professionals.
• Strong knowledge of tax compliance and GAAP reporting.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
