Senior Accounting Manager - Remote

Overview

RenoFi is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Accounting Manager to lead our accounting function as we scale. This role will own the company’s accounting operations, develop scalable financial processes, and act as a strategic partner to the leadership team.

In Short

• Oversee preparation of accurate and timely financial statements.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, and commission processes.
• Prepare and present cash review reports to VP of Finance.
• Manage monthly and quarterly financial reporting.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and tax regulations.
• Develop and implement policies and internal controls.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate accounting staff.
• Collaborate with department heads on financial strategies.
• Assess current financial processes and identify improvements.

Requirements

• Licensed CPA with experience in public and private accounting.
• Detail-oriented with a big-picture perspective.
• Experience with audits and compliance.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build financial models in Excel.
• Experience with NetSuite, Looker, and Salesforce.
• Strong communication skills for reporting to leadership.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
• Experience in managing teams and fostering collaboration.
• Understanding of financial goals and business models.
