Senior Accounting Manager - Remote

Overview

Renew Home is seeking an experienced Senior Accounting Manager to lead our accounting function and team, supporting our mission to revolutionize the energy industry.

In Short

• Lead monthly close process to ensure timely completion.
• Oversee revenue recognition for new contracts per ASC606.
• Establish proper accounting processes in compliance with US GAAP.
• Collaborate with internal and outsourced teams for issue resolution.
• Prepare quarterly P&L and BS reports for investor reporting.
• Review and approve journal entries and reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with various tax regulations.
• Support annual audits and complete internal control testing.
• Work with FP&A team on financial statement coding.
• Manage treasury functions and ensure timely AP payments.

Requirements

• Proven experience in accounting and finance roles.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and ASC606.
• Experience with financial reporting and audits.
• Ability to lead a team effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Experience with accounting software and tools.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant degree in accounting or finance.
