Senior Accounting Manager - Remote

We're looking for a Senior Accounting Manager to join our small-but-mighty Finance team and take the reins on all things General Ledger.

In Short

• Lead the preparation and review of financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Collaborate on SEC filings and ensure compliance with public company reporting requirements.
• Stay updated on accounting standards and ensure alignment with best practices.
• Mentor a team of junior accounting professionals.
• Implement and monitor internal controls for compliance.
• Manage debt compliance aspects in collaboration with financial partners.
• Coordinate the external audit process.
• Work closely with other departments to align financial goals.
• Provide detailed financial analysis to senior leadership.

Requirements

• 7+ years of accounting experience, with leadership experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, SEC reporting, and SOX compliance.
• Experience with financial statement preparation and technical accounting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with management and auditors.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required.
