Overview

The Phone/Intake Coordinator will serve as the first point of contact for clients and their families, conducting intake consultations and guiding them toward the services they need.

In Short

  • Conduct intake consultations with potential clients or family members over the phone.
  • Explain available services (ABA, HCBS, CFTSS, Peer Support) in a clear, professional, and compassionate manner.
  • Gather client demographic and insurance information and input it into the system accurately.
  • Discuss insurance issues or policy changes with parents or guardians.
  • Coordinate with internal staff to ensure a smooth intake and service initiation process.
  • Follow up with clients as needed regarding documentation, eligibility, or program status.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of all communication and updates.
  • Answer inbound calls and respond to client inquiries in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • Empathetic and professional communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
  • Experience in customer service or healthcare is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Ability to work night shifts.
