Client Onboarding Assistant - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and personable Client Onboarding Assistant to join a growing UK-based team on a fully remote basis. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding new clients through the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth and professional experience from the very first interaction.

In Short

• Manage the end-to-end client onboarding process, from initial welcome through to account activation
• Send and track onboarding documentation, contracts, and welcome packs via email
• Collect and verify client information, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date
• Schedule and coordinate onboarding calls between clients and internal teams
• Respond to client queries promptly and professionally during the onboarding phase
• Update CRM systems and internal trackers with client progress and status
• Flag and escalate any onboarding issues or delays to the relevant team members
• Assist with process improvement initiatives to streamline the onboarding workflow

Requirements

• Based in South Africa with a valid ID or passport
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable using email, spreadsheets, and CRM platforms
• Reliable internet connection (minimum 25 Mbps)
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Professional and friendly communication style
• Willingness to learn new systems and processes quickly
• Previous experience in admin, customer service, or client-facing roles is advantageous but not essential
