Overview

We are seeking a technically strong and people-centric Data & Automation Manager to co-lead our growing team of software developers and technical project managers. This role focuses on building internal tools and scripts that empower cross-functional partners, particularly in digital advertising, product, and supply chain.

In Short

  • Manage, coach, and mentor a team of up to 7 engineers and developers.
  • Lead architecture and code quality efforts in Python-based automation.
  • Guide projects from concept to deployment, managing scope and technical strategy.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify automation opportunities.
  • Support junior developers through technical reviews and best practices.
  • Drive process improvements through data analysis and feedback loops.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and provide regular feedback.
  • Support the design of modular, scalable tools for various teams.
  • Encourage continuous learning and development among team members.
  • Embrace change and innovation in processes and solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of professional coding experience, with 3+ years managing technical teams.
  • Strong expertise in Python and libraries such as Polars, Pandas, NumPy, and SQL.
  • Experience with data automation, scripting, and tool development.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, and modular codebases.
  • Experience in eCommerce, digital advertising, or logistics is a plus.
  • Proven track record of supporting junior engineers and fostering a learning culture.
  • Strong analytical skills and resourcefulness.
  • Clear communicator with problem-solving abilities.
  • High level of emotional intelligence and effective communication skills.
