Overview

The HR Assistant supports the Human Resources function of Refuge for Women’s Central Services Team, ensuring HR practices reflect the organization’s mission to provide safe, restorative, and faith-based residential care.

In Short

• Support HR functions in a faith-based non-profit environment.

Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
• 1–2 years of administrative or HR experience preferred.
• Experience in a nonprofit or human services setting is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• High level of integrity and confidentiality.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Google Workplace and HRIS preferred.
• Understanding of trauma-informed care principles.
• Commitment to the organization’s Christian mission and values.
• Willingness to support faith-based activities.
