Overview

Thoughtworks is looking for a Principal Engineer/Consultant, with expertise and experience in building and delivering banking and financial services technology, to join the APAC BFSI (Banking and Financial Services Industry) vertical in Australia.

In Short

• Leading and partnering with Tech Principals and Tech Leads to define product and technology vision for clients.
• Facilitating and leading workshops on financial systems and composable architectures.
• Advising clients on delivering technology solutions using architectural guiding principles.
• Presenting target architectures and technology solutions to senior client stakeholders.
• Collaborating on the analysis and design of complex banking applications.

Requirements

• Deep understanding of financial services domains like retail/core banking, payments, and insurance.
• Experience with modern scalable banking solutions.
• Familiarity with technologies like Kubernetes, Kafka, and PostgreSQL.
• Strong client-facing skills and ability to communicate technical positions effectively.
• Knowledge of Agile, Lean, and Continuous Delivery methodologies.
