Software Engineer, Identity & Access Management - Remote

Overview

Reddit is a community of communities, built on shared interests and trust. The Identity and Access Management team is responsible for managing user identity, authentication, and authorization for millions of daily users.

In Short

• Develop and maintain systems for user identity management.
• Design and build backend services for high traffic experiences.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement IAM vision.
• Work on high leverage projects aligned with Reddit’s goals.
• Create a more scalable and performant architecture around IAM.
• Engage in continuous learning and improvement.

Requirements

• 3+ years experience in distributed backend systems.
• Experience in IAM, specifically in authorization or authentication.
• Proficiency in programming languages, preferably Go.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (Kubernetes, AWS, GCP).
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration.
