Senior Software Engineer, Deployment - Remote

Overview

The Deployment Infrastructure team is looking to hire a Senior Software Engineer with a focus on creating robust, automated, deployment systems that balance reliability and efficiency.

In Short

• Work collaboratively with a team of software engineers to build and deploy software.
• Orchestrate complex deployment workflows.
• Progressively roll out services globally.
• Achieve automated rollback of failed deployments.
• Provide insight and monitoring around the health of deployments.
• Establish requirements and designs with end-users.
• Integrate open source technologies, primarily from the CNCF ecosystem.
• Build end user tooling, such as CLI utilities in Go.
• Share on-call responsibilities with the deployment infrastructure team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in the infrastructure and/or deployment domain.
• Proficiency in Go (Preferred), Rust, or Python.
• Experience with Kubernetes or similar distributed systems.
• Utilization of continuous delivery systems like Argo, Flux, or Temporal.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across orchestration and runtime concerns.
• Experience designing large systems and building consensus with engineers.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration.
