Overview

The Lead Data Engineer will build, maintain, and support the data warehouse, delivering data in an easy, performant, and readable format. This role is crucial in empowering the data behind AI strategies and business decisions at RedCloud.

In Short

Architect and own the data warehouse architecture and flow.
Design, build, and maintain ELT solutions.
Deliver data insights to colleagues and customers.
Investigate and resolve bugs in systems.
Respond to production outages and issues.
Estimate features and bugs in sessions.
Refine feature requirements from product managers.
Conduct code and pull-request reviews.
Mentor team members and new starters.
Communicate effectively across the business.

Requirements

Strong technical skills in SQL and database design.
Experience with Snowflake, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Python.
Ability to deliver actionable data insights.
Experience in resolving production issues.
Strong collaboration and mentoring skills.
Effective communication abilities.
