Staff Engineer | Education - Remote

Overview

As a Staff Software Engineer in the EDU division of RV Education, you will design and deliver high-impact solutions, working hands-on across the stack while mentoring other engineers and ensuring code quality.

In Short

• Deliver high-quality, scalable full-stack solutions using Next.js, React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.
• Build and maintain robust backend services using Node.js.
• Work with cloud infrastructure (AWS) to design and deploy secure services.
• Contribute to infrastructure-as-code using AWS CDK or Terraform.
• Lead complex technical projects from inception to delivery.
• Participate in architectural discussions and system design decisions.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews and pair programming.
• Advocate for engineering best practices.

Requirements

• 6+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong experience with Next.js, React, Tailwind CSS, TypeScript, and Node.js.
• Experience with AWS services.
• Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools like CDK or Terraform.
• Ability to lead development efforts and mentor engineers.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Comfort navigating ambiguity and learning quickly.
